AMG Specialty Hospital-Northwest Indiana ishiring a PRN Dietitian. The Dietitian a dvises and Counsels inpatient on food and nutrition. Assesses dietary needs and plans therapeutic diets for inpatients based on patient’s current health concerns. Analyses effects of interventions.

Collaborates with Physician, Nursing and therapists to improve patient outcomes. Oversees and implements preparation and service of meals for  the hospital. Responsible for oversight of dietary staff and their performance as well as ensuring the dietary department is in compliance with company guidelines; state, federal and other governing bodies laws and regulations.

Assures patients are consistently served diets as ordered following guidelines for meal times andmeal temperatures.

• Current Dietitian licensure required for Indiana
• Continuing Education of minimum hours every year to sustain credentials.
• Abilityto read and communicate effectively in English.
• Additional languages desirable.
