NUVEW Web Solutions is seeking an experienced, strategic, and motivated Content Department Manager to lead our team of Website Content Specialists.

This is not a senior copywriter position with occasional leadership responsibilities.

This is a true people leadership position responsible for developing employees, maintaining exceptional quality standards, improving departmental processes, and ensuring the content team consistently delivers outstanding results for our clients. The Content Team Manager will directly supervise, coach, and develop Website Content Specialists while overseeing departmental workflow, quality, deadlines, and overall team performance.

In addition to leading the department, this is a hands-on role. The Content Department Manager will review, edit, and approve content, while also writing client content for websites, blogs, newsletters, email campaigns, and other marketing initiatives as needed to support workload demands and ensure deadlines are met.

The Content Department Manager will work closely with our Content Operations Strategists, who determine content topics and strategic direction, as well as our SEO, account management, design, and development teams to ensure content aligns with client goals and overall marketing strategies.

The ideal candidate is an experienced people manager with a passion for developing others and producing exceptional content. They are an outstanding writer and editor who is comfortable providing direct feedback, coaching employees, making decisions, improving processes, and leading a team through change. RESPONSIBILITIES Team Leadership and Management
  • Directly manage, coach, mentor, and develop Website Content Specialists.
  • Establish clear expectations, goals, quality standards, and performance requirements.

  • Monitor departmental productivity, accuracy, quality, and timeliness.

  • Address employee performance and workplace concerns promptly, fairly, and professionally.
  • Hold team members accountable while maintaining a respectful and supportive work environment.

  • Assist with interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training new Website Content Specialists.
  • Build an engaged, collaborative, dependable, and results-oriented team.
Content Creation and Editing
  • Research, write, revise, and edit content for clients in a variety of industries.
