Electrical Assembler

Electrical Assembler is responsible for assembling, mounting and connecting electrical components and wires for manufacturing of recycling machinery; and testing finished machinery.

Responsibilities include:

• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, measurements, and engineering parts lists to determine proper machine assembly
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Safely utilize hand and power tools to aid in electrical assembly
• Use a saw, sander, drill, conduit bender or other tool to complete tasks
• Work with low voltage control circuitry as well as high voltage motors and components
• Safely operate and test finished machines
• Ensure that all procedures are followed and documented as required

Physical Requirements include:

• Heavy industrial environment with mechanical activities requiring personal protective equipment
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
  Stand for extended periods of time Sit, Stoop, Bend Reach above shoulders Lift 50 pounds
