Role Summary
The Overnight Operator supports food manufacturing operations on our overnight shift. This position works four 10‑hour days on a Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday shift schedule, operating from 11PM to 9:30AM. Operators oversee equipment, prepare production runs, and maintain safety and quality standards in a cold environment and other manufacturing conditions. Pay: $19.50–$21.33; shift differential: $1.50.
Responsibilities- Operate, monitor, and assist with production equipment used for drying, freezing, grinding, sifting, boxing, and packaging.
- Perform equipment setup, sanitation, minor adjustments, and production changeovers during overnight operations.
- Follow General Manufacturing Procedures (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), CCP checks, and Lock Out/Tag Out procedures to maintain food safety and workplace safety standards.
- Complete cleaning and sanitation tasks using pressure hoses, chemicals, and production tools in a cold environment.
- Support team production goals by maintaining attendance, communicating professionally, and assisting with continuous improvement efforts.
- At least six months of manufacturing or production experience preferred.
- Ability to work overnight shifts on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday with 10‑hour days.
- Comfort working in cold, dusty, wet, hot, or loud production environments.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, climbing, and pushing equipment.
- Basic math, reading, and computer skills.
- Forklift experience is a plus.
- Consistent overnight schedule with four 10‑hour days per week.
