Promote and restore patient health by delivering individualized care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation while maintaining standards of professional nursing.

Perform tasks such as establishing a compassionate environment, acknowledging and attending to physiological and psychological needs, closely monitoring status of patient under your care, observing patient and recording significant conditions and reactions, notifying the healthcare team as needed, educating patient on procedures and treatments to gain cooperation and understanding, and showing willingness and understanding that Med‑Surg patients will be taken in the event there is no critical care patient.

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program
• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State of Indiana
• Current Healthcare BLS and ACLS certification (ACLS can be acquired within department guidelines)
• Two or more years recent experience on telemetry unit
• Completed basic EKG class

• Bachelor of Science degree in nursing (BSN)
• Two or more years recent experience with surgical critical care patients
• Two or more years with Med‑Surg patients
• Current CCRN certification
• Current IV certification
