Join our dynamic team at Bickford Senior Living as a Wellness Nurse. The Wellness Nurse supports resident care within the branch, ensuring that residents’ daily medication needs are met in a compassionate way that maintains their dignity, allowing them to live their life to the fullest.

• Full‑time employees are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and voluntary products.
• Part‑time employees (29 or fewer hours per week) are eligible for voluntary life, short‑term disability, long‑term disability, accident, critical illness, identity protection, and cyber monitoring.
• Benefits start on the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment.

• Accurately follow the resident MAR to ensure medications are given according to the Physician’s orders.
• Understand and follow the six rights of medication administration and all Bickford policies and procedures regarding medication management.
• Understand and appropriately utilize the eMAR system for medication administration.
• Communicate appropriately with clinical leadership for clarification and direction regarding resident medication administration and care.
• Provide direct resident care and supervise resident care work of non‑licensed team members and other areas of the branch as appropriate.
• Demonstrate Bickford Mission ‘Whatever it Takes’ to all other team members on shift.

• Active license as an LPN or Registered Nurse in good standing.
• Willingness to take additional training or education, which specific states may require.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Competent in organizational and time management skills.
• Good judgment, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Ability to utilize or learn Bickford’s eMAR system to administer medications.
