Cashier - Winfield

Summary: As a Cashier, your primary responsibility will include operating a cash register to accurately ring up our customers' grocery orders. You will be responsible for tendering multiple forms of payment while ensuring our customers experience a friendly, efficient checkout process. You will interact with a high-volume of customers in a fast-paced environment ensuring that all of their grocery shopping needs were met.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Cashier activities:

* Greet customers

* Scan grocery order

* Process coupons and collect payment

* Operate cash register and scanner

Other activities:

* Assist with facing candy, magazines and non-food items

* Maintaining area clean and tidy including conveyor belt

* Other duties as assigned

Knowledge Requirements: A positive customer service attitude & pleasant personality, effective memory skills, good hand eye coordination, dependability, ability to follow directions & a strong willingness to learn.
