Hallmark Field Merchandiser; part-time Crown Point

Job Overview

As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase your organization and time‑management skills, establish retailer relationships, and serve as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support team members with seasonal resets and installations when needed.

• Your starting hourly pay rate will be $14.50 – $16.50 per hour depending on your skills and experience.
• Paid training is provided through live, hands‑on instruction and virtual classroom sessions.
• Part‑time employees are offered voluntary benefits that include medical, dental, vision, and other coverage.
• Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
• Position is part‑time with a variable schedule during the work week.
• Average weekly hours are between 8 and 15.
• Availability before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required.
• Availability to support seasonal changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support is required.

• Perform service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores such as grocery, drug, department, and mass retailers.
• Engage daily using a Hallmark‑provided mobile device to restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark products inside and outside the department; use technology for communication, reporting, and surveys.
• Support seasonal demand by providing additional hours during holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. On some holidays you may be required to work the actual day, including weekends.
• Assist with department resets, installations, and facility relocations. You may be notified up to two weeks in advance; tasks may involve evenings or weekends.
• Collaborate with the Hallmark field organization, supporting other merchandisers as needed in your territory.

This is a physically demanding job that requires lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 30 pounds routinely and 50 pounds occasionally. You must consistently kneel, squat, walk, and stand, and may need to climb stairs and step ladders.

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English.
• Ability to grasp, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to operate a digital hand‑held device, read documents, and interpret information.
• Access to Wi‑Fi and the internet.
• Reliable transportation to travel to assigned stores as scheduled.
