Our client is looking for an experienced Multi Skilled / Multi Trade Operative to join their operational delivery team.

This is a permanent, hands-on opportunity for an experienced tradesperson with a strong practical background in building works, refurbishment, repairs and general maintenance.

The role offers a varied workload across commercial, Government and public sector properties. You will attend different client sites, carrying out practical building and maintenance works and taking ownership of tasks from start to finish.

The Role

Typical works may include:

* Carpentry repairs and installations

* Tiling and flooring repairs

* Painting and decorating

* Brickwork and general building repairs

* Fencing and gate repairs

* Basic plumbing

* Making good and remedial works

* Minor refurbishment and general building maintenance

We are not expecting candidates to be experienced across every trade. We are particularly interested in people with a strong core trade or practical construction background who are confident turning their hand to a variety of building works.

About You

The role would suit candidates from backgrounds including:

* Multi Trade / Multi Skilled Operative

* Multi Trader

* Carpenter / Joiner

* Building Operative

* Building Maintenance

* Property Maintenance

* General Builder / Handyman

You should be confident working independently, using your own initiative and finding practical solutions to problems on site.

Reliability, communication and professionalism are extremely important, as you will be representing the company directly when working at client premises.

Working Area

The role involves regular travel across London and the surrounding Home Counties, with the wider coverage including areas of Surrey, Middlesex, Hertfordshire, Essex and Kent.

Candidates should be comfortable travelling between different client sites and hold a full UK driving licence.

Training & Development

A comprehensive training programme is provided, with training potentially including:
First Aid, Asbestos Awareness, Working at Height, PASMA and IPAF.

Further industry-specific training will be provided where required.

Qualifications

Essential:
Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable, but not essential: NVQ or City & Guilds qualification, Carpentry / Joinery qualification, CSCS Card, First Aid, PASMA and IPAF.

Relevant practical experience will be considered in place of formal qualifications.
