Our established client is seeking a qualified HGV Technician – late shift
Location:
Croydon
Hours:
late shift - 1.30pm to 10pm, Monday to Friday
42.5 hour week, with 30 minutes unpaid lunch.
OT available at weekends

In the role of HGV Technician
, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and repair of Heavy Goods Vehicles, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using specialist diagnostic equipment
- Carry out repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, and suspension systems
- Complete routine maintenance and preventative servicing
- Perform inspections and post-repair testing
- Maintain accurate service records and job documentation
- Ensure compliance with health & safety standards
- Participate in breakdown cover rota when required
HGV Technician skills and experience
Previous experience as an HGV Technician or similar role
Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
Good communication and problem-solving abilities
Full UK driving licence
Ability to work independently and within a team
HGV licence and FLT licence desirable but not essential
