Senior Cost Accountant

Our client, is a well-established, employed focused organization, is looking for an experienced Cost Accountant to lead various cost accounting operations. Opportunity to own all costing and reporting for a business unit, present to leadership, and drive process improvements!

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly cost accounting close, including inventory reconciliations and product cost roll-ups.
• Analyze manufacturing costs and variances, providing insights to improve operational and financial performance.
• Drive process improvements and automation to enhance reporting and data integrity.
• Present reporting packages and deliverables to leadership.
• Maintain standard costs and support inventory accounting accuracy.
• Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance.
• Maintain internal controls over cost and inventory accounting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4+ years of cost accounting or manufacturing finance experience.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, inventory accounting, and standard costing.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in ERP systems and Excel.
