Position: Administrative Assistant (35 hours) - Crystal Lake, IL

Overview

Wintrust seeks an Administrative Assistant to support the Chicago Bank® team. The role involves managing administrative tasks, preparing communications for senior leadership, and coordinating meetings and events.

Responsibilities
  • Greet staff, guests, and vendors in a professional and friendly manner
  • Create emails, memos, letters, presentations, worksheets, and reports for CEO and departmental correspondence
  • Support board meetings, including preparing monthly board reports, constructing reports through Directors Desk, and recording meeting minutes
  • Plan and coordinate departmental events and meetings
  • Monitor expenses and budgets for internal and external meetings
  • Provide administrative support including filing, copying, typing correspondence, presentations, spreadsheets, and related documentation.
  • Coordinate with Rosemont corporate executive administration team on projects, tasks, and assignments
  • Support CRA donations, accounts payable documentation, etc.
  • Record and maintain departmental service hours and related administrative records
  • Generate and submit IT tickets for respective departments based on manager and employee needs
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • 3+ years of secretarial, administrative assistant, office services experience supporting various management levels
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, primarily Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Must be a self-starter, motivated, with excellent time-management skills to prioritize tasks and deliverables
  • Must have excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication (both written and oral), and telephone etiquette skills
  • Customer focus in dealing with all levels of employees and visitors
  • Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information

Compensation

The estimated hourly rate for this role is $20.00 - $35.00, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual pay rate may vary based on a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and experience.
