Office Administrator/ Coordinator, Bookkeeper/ Accounting Clerk
M’Lady Nissan is looking for a detail-oriented, dependable, and team-oriented Full-Time License & Title Clerk to join our dealership team. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of automotive title and registration experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced dealership environment where accuracy, organization, and customer service are essential.
ResponsibilitiesEnter data accurately and efficiently on a daily basis.
Process all vehicles for registration in the state in which they will be titled.
Prepare tax, title, registration, and other required vehicle documents.
Verify that all funds have been collected and the correct lienholder has been paid off before processing title applications.
Review title and registration applications for accuracy and completeness.
Maintain an organized system for tracking and verifying out-of-state titles.
Follow up on titles from auctions and ensure they are received and processed in a timely manner.
Release liens and send titles for paid-in-full accounts, insurance payoffs, outside payoffs, and wholesale vehicles.
Maintain accurate records and ensure all title and registration paperwork complies with state requirements.
Work closely with the sales, finance, accounting, and management teams to resolve title and registration issues.
Assist with general office responsibilities as needed to support the dealership team.
Answer incoming phone calls and direct customers to the appropriate department or employee.
Greet and assist customers when they arrive at the dealership and help with basic customer needs when needed.
Provide coverage and support to other office staff during busy periods, breaks, or when additional assistance is needed.
Maintain a professional, helpful, and welcoming attitude when interacting with customers and coworkers.
QualificationsAt least 1 year of automotive title and registration experience preferred.
Dealership experience strongly preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to handle confidential documents and financial information.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with computers and standard office software.
Willingness to assist with general office and customer service duties as part of a team.
Professional, dependable, positive, and team-oriented attitude.

. While the primary responsibility of this position is license and title processing, the successful candidate will also be willing to answer the phone, greet customers, assist with basic office needs, and provide support to coworkers when necessary.
