Store Customer Service Rep
We are searching for qualified customer‑service reps with personality and people skills. We are growing so fast that Domino’s has lots of ways for you to grow—perhaps to management or beyond. Whether it’s a hobby, main gig, or supplemental job, we have just the thing for you.
Job Requirements- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Job Duties for All Team Members
- Operate all equipment.
- Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
- Prepare product.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
- Orientation and training provided on the job.
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use a calculator).
- Must be able to make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks.
- In‑store temperatures range from 36° in the cooler to 90° and above in some work areas.
- Sudden changes in temperature in the work area and while outside.
- Fumes from food odors.
- Exposure to cornmeal dust.
- Cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler.
- Hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500° or higher.
- Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
- Talking and hearing on telephone.
- Near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks.
- Depth perception.
- Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality‑control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Physical Requirements- Standing – most tasks are performed from a standing position.
- Walking – for short distances and durations over ceramic tile/linoleum; height of work surfaces 36‑48 inches.
- Sitting – paperwork normally completed at a desk or table.
- Lifting – bulk product deliveries up to 50 pounds; cases onto shelves up to 72 inches.
- Carrying – large cans (~3 lb 7 oz), pizza sauce (~30 lb), trays of dough (~12 lb per tray).
- Pushing – trays on dollies up to 30 inches requiring force up to 7.5 lb.
- Climbing – infrequently stairs or ladders to change prices, wash walls, perform maintenance.
- Stooping/Bending – forward bending at the waist, 30‑45 seconds at a time.
- Crouching/Squatting – occasionally to stock shelves and clean low areas.
- Reaching – up/down/forward; above 72 inches to turn on/off oven controls.
- Hand tasks – eye‑hand coordination essential; frequent use of hands; shaping dough, manipulating pizza peel, rolling cutter, etc.
- Pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter, pizza peel.
