Part-time tutor to serve in co-requisite Mathematics class.

Part-time tutor to serve in a co-requisite mathematics class as a resource for individual students and small groups of students who need extra support during class activities. Tutors must also have availability for students who need assistance before and/or after class time.

• Completion of a minimum of 12 college or university credits.
• Certificate in any math related course will be considered.

Tutors should have a good command of the material being taught in the class and strong communication skills.

• McHenry County College provides part-time employees a competitive bank of vacation, sick, and personal leave time along with an optional Sick Leave Pool;
• part-time employees who work at least twenty (20) hours a week also receive up to 15 paid holidays depending on their work schedule.
• The College also offers employees the opportunity to save for retirement through deferred compensation plans.
• Part time employees who work at least twenty (20) hours per week are eligible to receive a tuition waiver for up to nine (9) credit hours for courses taken at MCC.
• In addition, the College also provides tuition reimbursement for pre-approved course work taken at a regionally accredited institution upon successful completion of such course.
