Specialist, Finance Enablement Platform

Location:

Travel: yes – up to 50%, will fluctuate dependent upon business needs

The Specialist, Finance Enablement Platform role is responsible for managing the process for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the Finance Function by optimizing operational processes, driving technology integration, and ensuring that team members have the necessary resources and support. This role involves assessing current tools and processes, recommending improvements, and implementing new solutions tailored to treasury functions. The role will collaborate with finance leaders, analysts, segment partners, and vendors to streamline workflows and implement best practices.

Additionally, the role includes designing and delivering comprehensive training programs for Finance team members, focusing on industry-leading techniques.

As Specialist, Finance Enable Platform, You Will:

• Assist in identifying and addressing bottlenecks in finance processes.
• Build on strengths and accelerate the development of critical Finance capabilities.
• Manage the process of defining technology needs and adapting processes beyond existing workflows.
• Assess current technologies and processes; recommend and implement improvements and new solutions tailored to business segments
• Promote accountability by improving efficiency, effectiveness, and predictability.
• Collect and interpret data on various performance and process metrics; identify high-value opportunities to improve how the team operates and implement them.
• Stay updated on technology trends and continuously identify new tools to enhance operations.
• Document process maps, policies and procedures in collaboration with Finance function and other stakeholders.
• Prepare and deliver presentations, training sessions, and status updates for diverse stakeholders and audiences.
• Act as mentor and subject matter expert regarding processes to others in Finance

Education

• Required:
  
  College or university business degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related analytical field

Required:

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in finance, FP&A, or a related role within Aptargroup.
• Experience with financial systems (SAP, BPC, Blackline, etc)
• Proven track record of driving process improvements and automation.
