Mobile Technician

Overview

Crystal Lake Elementary District 47 currently has one opening for the Mobile Technician position. The rate of pay is $17.87 per hour for a 40-hour work week, year-round position. Medical benefits and Paid Time Off are provided. The Mobile Technician provides ongoing support for staff and students with specialization on mobile devices such as Chromebooks, iPads, PCs, and other wireless devices.

• Support teachers and students with functionality of technology devices in the classroom
• Provide first level of support and troubleshoot PCs, printers, projectors and other forms of technology
• Repair or coordinate repairs on Chromebooks, iPads, PCs, and other mobile devices
• Provide assistance to teachers and students where it relates to use of technology
• Maintain technology inventory for the buildings assigned
• Install or update apps/software as directed
• Be proactive, communicate and escalate issues to the next level of support
• Assist in maintaining a high level of security on the district network

• Education:
  
  At least 30 semester hours college credit preferred
• Knowledge of Windows, Chrome OS, iOS, Google Apps, and Microsoft Office
• Detail-oriented
• Experience with troubleshooting technical issues
• Positive interpersonal communication ability and self-motivation
