Automotive Mobile Diagnostic Technician

Overview

Protech Automotive Solutions is looking for a highly talented, dedicated and quality-focused Mobile Diagnostic Technician to perform all-purpose duties, which may include, but not limited to: applying technical knowledge to assist customers, answering inbound and outbound phone calls in support of Autel scanning unit, answering technical questions relating to the scanning procedures of the Autel unit, and conducting research to understand, explain, and resolve technology issues on the vehicle.

• Assist customers and provide top tier service related to the Autel scanning unit.
• Answer inbound and outbound phone calls in support of Autel scanning unit operations.
• Explain scanning procedures and troubleshoot technology issues on vehicles as needed.
• Conduct research to understand, explain, and resolve technology issues on the vehicle.

• 2+ years of prior experience as a Diagnostic technician required; I-CAR & ASE certifications preferred
• Must currently have or be willing to obtain proper tools to successfully complete job duties as assigned
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including background checks

• Minimum age requirement of 21+ years
• Ability to perform physical activity including reaching, kneeling, bending, squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs
• Ability to read and understand instructions, written estimates, and work orders
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to handle competing priorities and adapt to a fast-paced environment
• Ability to provide personable, friendly customer service to internal and external customers
