Press Operator – Crystal Lake, IL

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Press Operator. This individual will review job specifications, determine production needs, verify size, color, and type of paper and ink, load ink fountains, and verify allocated material.

• Starting at $20–$25/hour

• Located in Crystal Lake, Illinois

• Review job specifications to determine production needs and verify size, color, and type of paper and ink from the job order.
• Load ink fountains with new colors required for the job.
• Verify allocated material.
• Ensure the correct printing plate matches the order.
• Ensure there is enough ink to complete the job; adjust controls for volume of ink, press controls, ink fountains, and automatic feeders.
• Verify correct cutting die (label press specific).

• High‑school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of related Mark Andy press experience and training.
• Ability to read and interpret measurements up to a 16th of an inch using a ruler or tape measure.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds without help.
• Ability to match or detect differences between colors, including shades of color and brightness.
• Must tolerate chemicals and occasional strong odors.
• Physical activity: active, talking, hearing, repetitive motions, climbing, squatting, walking, lifting, pulling, bending. (Full‑time on feet during shift.)

Salary range based on experience.
