Job SummaryThe Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will provide patient/resident care as required under the direct supervision of the licensed nurse. The CNA at Fair Oaks Health Care Center completes assigned tasks to ensure timely, efficient and safe patient/resident care. Communication and interactions with patients, residents, families and other health team members is an essential component of this position.

CompensationCNA base hourly wage: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour depending on experience
PLUS shift differentials- $2.00 per hour PM shift and $2.50 per hour NOC shift

Key Responsibilities- Performs initial and ongoing data collection on all patients/residents under the direction of the Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Implements plan of care developed by the Registered Nurse based on patient/resident physical, psychosocial, cultural, ethnic and religious/spiritual needs.
- Provides direct patient/resident care and reports condition and changes to RN or LPN.
- Demonstrates time management and prioritization of tasks.
- Document results of patient/resident care within established policies, procedures and scope of practice.
- Nutritional care
- Effective communication with residents and family
- Completes all other duties as assigned.

QualificationsRequired:
- Must be in good standing on the State Nursing Assistant registry or appropriate entity
- Ability to meet physical and job-related requirements
- Must be English literate and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred:
- Previous hospital or long-term care or skilled nursing experience
- CPR Certified
