Job Description

Assistant Manager – responsible for overseeing store operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining cost controls, inventory and cash management, staff scheduling and training, store cleanliness, marketing, and profitability.

• Experience operating all store equipment and stocking ingredients.
• Preparation and processing of product and orders, both in‑person and over the phone.
• Receipt and processing of inventory, including paperwork.
• Daily cleaning of equipment and facility.
• Orientation and on‑the‑job training provided.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in mathematics – adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing quickly and accurately.
• Ability to give correct written instructions.
• Motor coordination for precise movements.
• Computer and touchscreen operation for order entry.

• Indoor temperatures range from 36°F to 90°F+
• Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, and hot surfaces up to 500°F.
• Varied weather conditions for outside tasks.
• Limited space, including walk‑in cooler and cramped work areas.
• Heavy lifting up to 50 pounds and carrying up to 40 pounds on short distances.

• Standing required for most tasks.
• Walking, bending, stooping, and reaching frequently.
• Use of hands required for food preparation and equipment handling.
• Ability to climb stairs or ladder as needed.
