Baker and Packager Associate

Our Bakery/Packager associates prepare fresh baked items daily for members by following recipes, wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise to ensure availability of the freshest items. Employees may need to juggle several tasks while helping members with bakery orders. The role requires a fast‑paced, team‑orientated approach with a focus on member satisfaction and high quality standards.

• Be a Team Member: Collaborate with other associates to build a strong bakery team, communicate with teammates, and be flexible to business needs by working in other areas as required.
• Be an Expert: Prepare bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment, following recipes, wrapping, labeling, and storing products while ensuring compliance with food safety, sanitation, and cold‑chain regulations.
• Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; utilize handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality.
• Be an Owner: Commit to operational excellence by maintaining the work area, ensuring quality and date‑control standards, securing fragile merchandise, eliminating waste, and ensuring proper packaging, labeling, and storage.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club, deliver high‑quality service and products, exhibit energy, commitment, and passion, and model best practices.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics, including the Open Door Policy.
• Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers and partners, and communicating progress and improvement opportunities.

The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00 to $26.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation may include premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour for specific circumstances.
