Retail Associate/ Customer Service, Retail Support, Stocking, Cashier
Responsibilities
- Maintain checkout, entrance, and exit areas, ensuring a safe and organized environment.
- Provide member service, including verifying membership cards, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, and supporting self‑service technology.
- Process member purchases, payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges in accordance with company policies.
- Conduct safety sweeps, report unsafe situations, and comply with all safety and security guidelines.
- Arrange and zone merchandise, identify shrink and damages, and maintain proper positioning of products.
- Assist with member needs and concerns, promoting Sam’s Club products and services.
- Support team members by training associates on front‑end equipment, mobile retail applications, new technology, and program rollouts.
- Maintain documentation, logs, and other required paperwork, including emergency response procedures.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, ethics, and the Open Door Policy, and recommend improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with managers, co‑workers, and customers to determine priorities, deadlines, and expectations, and communicate progress effectively.
- Retail experience operating front‑end equipment (e.g., cash register).

Hourly wage range: $18.00 to $26.00 per hour*
Additional compensation: Premia could be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances such as schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met.
