Heavy Duty Cummins Truck Mechanic

Our dealership is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Heavy Duty Cummins Truck mechanic to join our team. As a Heavy Duty Truck mechanic, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on Class 6-8 trucks, with a focus on engine and transmission work, and other mechanical duties.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair engine and transmission issues on heavy duty trucks
• Perform routine maintenance on trucks, including oil changes and brake inspections
• Use diagnostic tools to identify and troubleshoot problems
• Communicate with customers regarding repairs and maintenance needed
• Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 years of experience working on heavy duty trucks
• Certifications in Cummins
• Strong knowledge of engine and transmission systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Must have own tools
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
