Requirements and Duties- You must be 18 years of age, have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards, and have access to an insured vehicle for delivery.
- Must possess customer service skills, navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and the ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi‑story buildings.
Job Duties
- Operate all equipment.
- Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
- Prepare product.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and facility daily.
Orientation and training provided on the job.
Communication Skills- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
- Perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly.
- Make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for precise movements.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Navigate adverse terrain while carrying product.
- Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions.
- In‑store temperatures range from 36 °F in cooler to 90 °F or higher in some work areas.
- Sudden changes in temperature.
- Fumes from food odors.
- Exposure to cornmeal dust.
- Cramped quarters, including walk‑in cooler.
- Hot surfaces/tools up to 500 °F or higher.
- Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
- Standing:
Most tasks performed while standing. - Walking:
Short distances and durations; surfaces include ceramic tile or linoleum. - Sitting:
Paperwork completed at a desk or table. - Lifting:
Bulk product deliveries up to 50 lbs with hand truck. - Carrying:
Large cans (≈3 lb) and other items up to 12 lb per tray. - Pushing/Pulling:
Trays on dollies require up to 7.5 lb force. - Climbing:
Infrequently navigate stairs or ladders. - Stooping/Bending:
Forward bending at pizza assembly station for 30–45 seconds continuously. - Crouching/Squatting:
Occasionally when stocking shelves or cleaning low areas. - Reaching:
Up, down, and forward reach up to 72 in occasionally. - Hand tasks:
Continuous use with excellent eye‑hand coordination.
- Pencil/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter, pizza peel.
