General Warehouse - Metal Processor

Description & Responsibilities

Determine and meet all customers’ needs, providing friendly and efficient service, continually exceeding customers’ expectations. A Metal Processor demonstrates a basic understanding of the company’s processes and warehouse procedures. This role must address all procedural questions to their supervisor.

• Sorting material such as brass, copper, aluminum, etc
• Helping customers unload the materials they bring in and weighing the material on the scale
• Disassembling material such as machines and appliances
• Ability to take directions from management and work in a team
• Adaptability to new environments
• Any additional requirements asked by management

• Responsibilities primarily performed by standing / walking 95% of the time
• The ability to work in both extreme heat and cold weather conditions is required
• Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment up to 50 pounds
• Normal range of vision, depth perception and hearing is needed
• Ability to bend, stoop and reach above the shoulders is required

The ideal candidate for this position must have an open availability. Shift hours will be Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm, and every Saturday from 8am to 1pm. Shift hours could change in the future depending on business needs.

• Hourly pay: $15/hr to $16/hr
