Shipping Clerk

Job Title: Shipping Clerk
City and State: Crystal Lake, IL
Pay Rate: $17.00/hour
Schedule/Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Day Shift)
Employment Type: Evaluation Hire (Contract-to-Hire)

The Shipping Clerk is responsible for preparing, processing, and verifying shipments while maintaining accurate shipping and inventory records. This role supports daily warehouse operations and ensures all outgoing and incoming goods are handled accurately, safely, and on time.

• Prepare and process outgoing shipments, including creating shipping labels, packing lists, and required documentation
• Coordinate carrier pickups and shipment scheduling
• Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for accuracy, damage, and correct quantities
• Verify shipments against purchase orders and invoices
• Maintain organized and accurate shipping and inventory records
• Update inventory systems and track shipment activity

• Comfortable performing shipping and warehouse duties as described
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Willing and able to perform the essential functions of the job
• Forklift experience preferred (certification required if operating)

• Label printers, barcode scanners, scales, tape guns, and packing materials
• Pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts (if certified)
