Hygienist, Join our team in Crystal as a full-time Hygienist! Our Hygienists serve as integral members of the clinical team in providing high quality and caring dentistry as well as an exceptional patient experience.
Community Dental Care is Minnesota's largest provider of comprehensive dental care for people of all ages on public programs. We operate five clinics across the state, including the Twin Cities, Rochester and Buffalo.

- Provide culturally sensitive oral health care, preventive education, professional training, and advocate for access for all
- Full-time Hygienist new hires are eligible for our loan repayment program with a 2-year employment commitment, as well as a quarterly monetary incentive.
- Provide comprehensive dental care with a focus on the health needs of the patients
- Perform preliminary and existing charting of the oral cavity and surrounding structures
- Perform initial and periodic examinations and assessments
- Formulate a dental hygiene treatment plan in coordination with a dentist's treatment plan
- Complete debridement, prophylaxis, and nonsurgical periodontal therapy; place subgingival medicaments.
- Provide nutritional counseling
- Administer nitrous oxide inhalation analgesia and monitor patient
- Apply topical medications including fluoride varnishes and desensitizing agents
- Dental Hygienist license
- CPR/AED certification
- Experience working with culturally diverse communities preferred
- Proficiency in a second language preferred
Monday-Thursday 7:20am-3:30pm
Friday 7:20am-2:30pm
