Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience within the specific division being hired into and be deemed competent to work independently.

Under the supervision of the Radiology Section Manager and according to established policies and procedures for various age groups of patients, perform diagnostic ultrasound imaging, vascular and Doppler technology to assist Radiologists in the diagnosis and treatment of illness. Evaluate processed sonographs to ensure that they are of acceptable quality. Assess the age‑specific needs of the patients we serve. Also responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital.

• Education:
  
  Completion of a Sonographic Imaging program from an accredited school with at least 2 years of on‑the‑job training in a supervised setting within an ultrasound department.
• Current BLS certification required. RDMS registered.
• Two (2) years clinical experience/responsibility in an ultrasound department.
