Maintenance Mechanic - Aerospace Manufacturing; 1st Shift Cudahy, CA

Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) in Cudahy is currently looking for a Maintenance Mechanic for the 1st Shift (5:00am – 1:30pm) to join our team. The role reports to the Operations Manager at our aerospace manufactory in Cudahy, CA.

Hourly Rate:$33–$38

• Troubleshoot and repair various pieces of electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic equipment.
• Ensure that safety-related work orders are given top priority to ensure safety of all CPP team members.
• Perform scheduled preventative/predictive maintenance and emergency repairs.
• Work on fabrication projects for all areas of the plant using a lathe/mill and various pieces of welding equipment.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends.

• 3 years of previous experience in a technical maintenance role in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent GED required; candidates lacking this requirement but possessing relevant experience will be considered.
• Previous experience working with PLCs and VFDs strongly preferred.
• MIG and Stick welding experience.
• Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of electrical testing equipment, skilled in use of standard mechanical hand tools.
• Strong communication skills required.
