Position: Shop Clerk / Administrative

Shop Clerk – Cudahy, WI

We are currently seeking a Shop Clerk for our facility located in Cudahy, WI. This position performs diversified clerical assignments where experience and judgment are required to understand the purpose of the procedure and its relationship with previous and subsequent operations.

Job Duties
  • Duties involve interpretation, classification and consolidation of data from various sources, the preparation, maintenance and filing of reports, records, forms, schedules, correspondence, etc., in accordance with established and prescribed routines.
  • Must be familiar with all procedures and capable of performing duties associated with assigned functions.
  • Performs duties in connection with receiving, placing and transferring telephone calls.
  • Does typing incidental to assignment.
  • Operates various office equipment, including computer.
  • Work is subject to being checked and verified.
  • May assign work and instruct clerks of lower classification.

This is a first shift position, 8:30am-5pm, Monday through Friday, with a 1/2 hour lunch. Training will take place on the same shift.

Basic Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Courses in business education beyond high school to include typing, keyboarding, computer hardware and software (Word, Excel, databases, etc.) skills.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clerical experience encompassing the above duties.
