Position: Engineering Admin (Metallurgical)

Overview

ATI is currently looking for an Engineering Admin to work with our Metallurgical Engineering team at our Cudahy, WI location. The Engineering Admin will provide administrative and project management support to the Metallurgical team. The Metallurgical team is involved in all aspects of the business from quotation of new product through qualification and even field support. A good Process Leader is interested in the technology side of business and has excellent attention to detail.

There will be on the job training for the types of materials and processes performed at Cudahy Operations, but ability to read specifications and drawings is preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in technical report writing for non-destructive testing rejections
  • Complete cut-up reports including customer forms and organizing internal documents
  • Data analysis using Excel and Minitab of mechanical properties to help achieve reduced testing and support of customer submittals
  • Follow special projects through the manufacturing process and monitor testing progress in our on-site laboratory
  • Facilitate material rejections and defect evaluations at external laboratories
  • Communicate test plan requirements to the design team and develop checklists for test programs
Basic Qualifications
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting
  • 1+ years of admin experience in quality, metallurgical, manufacturing, or related
Preferred
  • Associates degree
Essential Skills
  • Proven ability to work well in a team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized, excellent attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel and Word) and Internet applications
