ATI is currently seeking a Sr Maintenance Leader to join our facility located in Cudahy, WI. This position is responsible for the coordination of maintenance activities in a safety 1st work environment. Responsibilities include salary and hourly maintenance employees as well as contractor support when applicable. The Sr Maintenance Leader will manage and administer all preventive maintenance and scheduled/repairs and comply with all relevant Environmental, Safety and Quality requirements.
This individual will also handle overtime schedules, grievance administration, and employee discipline issues. The Sr Maintenance Manager will also mentor hourly and salary staff, and conduct salary performance reviews.
- Safely plan, organize, and execute maintenance activities in a cost-effective manner which support production schedules.
- Provide broad practical and technical knowledge of all areas of Maintenance. Provide effective equipment trouble shooting and identify solutions to improve uptime and reliability.
- Monitor and control overall departmental performance by review of manpower requirements and budgets applicable to the Maintenance.
- Promote positive and effective employer-employee relationships while ensuring compliance with applicable labor contracts and EEO/AAP provisions.
- Insure the highest level of safe working conditions for all assigned employees via ATI Cudahy Safety initiatives, preventative maintenance, and efficient general housekeeping.
- Develop and maintain an effective workforce through training, staffing, development, appraisal, and motivation.
- Responsible for the proper usage of Maintenance EAM system. This includes timely PM and reactive order completion and supporting documentation of repairs.
Basic Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in industrial equipment repair and maintenance.
- High school Diploma or GED
Preferred
- 2 year technical degree or Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years prior supervisory experience
Essential Skills
- Computer literacy and proficiency in blueprint/drawing reading.
- Demonstrated managerial skills
- Ability to practically apply engineering principals and maintenance practices in manufacturing and maintenance environment.
