Tooling Engineer - Aerospace Manufacturing; Cudahy, CA

Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) in Cudahy is currently looking for a Tooling Engineer to join our team! This role will be reporting to our Operations Manager at our Aerospace Manufactory in Cudahy, CA.

Annual Rate: $90K - $130K DOE

• Develop tool life cycle program
• Develop data for tool life prediction
• Maintain / track tool life
• Review and analyze tooling 3D scans
• Perform visual and dimensional inspection of tools
• Maintain clear and organized documentation

• Associate's degree and minimum 3 years experience, Bachelor's degree in Engineering with minimum 1 year experience
• Understanding of GD&T
• Proficient with 3D CAD software (Solidworks preferred)
• Familiar with tool manufacturing techniques (i.e. machining, welding, grinding)

• Experience with 3D scanning / structured light inspection
• Experience with PMM or CMM inspection
• CAD/CAM experience (Gibb's CAM, MasterCAM, etc.)
