Skilled - Welder Fitter

We’re seeking skilled and motivated Fitter Welders to join a growing team in Cudahy, WI. The ideal candidate will have experience reading blueprints, fitting and fabricating metal components, and performing high-quality welding to meet production and customer specifications. Position Title:

Welder Fitter Wage: $25.00-$30.00/hour

Shift: 1st, 2nd

Hours:

6:00am-2:00pm, 2:00pm-12:00am;
Monday-Thursday

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
• Fit, align, and assemble metal components according to specifications
• Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Flux Core welding as required
• Measure, mark, and verify dimensions to ensure accuracy
• Operate fabrication equipment, including grinders, saws, drills, and other shop tools
• Inspect completed welds and assemblies for quality and conformance to specifications
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production goals and deadlines

• Previous experience as a Fitter Welder, Fabricator, or similar manufacturing role
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques and fabrication processes
• Ability to use measuring tools such as tape measures, squares, calipers, and levels
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Preferred welding certifications are a plus
• Preferred experience working with structural steel, stainless steel, or aluminum
• Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred
