Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) in Cudahy is currently looking for a Quality Supervisor to join our team! This role will be reporting to our Engineering Manager at our Aerospace Manufactory in Cudahy, CA.

Salary Rate: $100,000 - $120,000 DOE
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise and support Quality Inspectors and Quality Technicians in daily inspection and quality activities.
- Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards, customer requirements, and internal quality procedures, including AS9100 and ISO requirements.
- Monitor manufacturing processes and product inspections to ensure conformity to engineering drawings, specifications, and workmanship standards.
- Review first article inspections (FAIs), in-process inspections, and final inspection documentation.
- Investigate nonconforming materials and products and lead root cause and corrective action activities.
- Partner with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to resolve quality-related issues and implement preventive measures.
- Conduct internal audits and support customer, regulatory, and third-party audits.
- Review and analyze quality metrics, trends, scrap reports, and customer feedback to identify improvement opportunities.
- Ensure calibration and control of inspection tools and measuring equipment.
- Train and mentor employees on quality standards, inspection methods, and aerospace compliance requirements.
- Maintain accurate quality records and ensure documentation is complete and audit-ready.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing defects and improving process efficiency.
- Promote and maintain a culture of safety, quality, and accountability throughout the facility.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of quality experience in aerospace manufacturing or a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of AS9100, ISO 9001, and aerospace quality standards.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T, and specifications.
- Experience with inspection methods, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and quality systems.
- Proficiency with measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMMs preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP or quality management systems.
- Experience with First Article Inspection (FAI) requirements per AS9102.
- Knowledge of FAA, NADCAP, or customer-specific aerospace requirements.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience working with nonconformance reports (NCRs), CAPAs, and supplier quality processes.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
