The Senior Accountant will play a key role in the month-end close process, financial reporting, reconciliations, and supporting day-to-day accounting operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys owning the accounting process from start to finish.
Responsibilities- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger activity
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes
- Analyze financial statements and ensure accuracy of reporting
- Maintain balance sheet schedules and supporting documentation
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed
- Prepare accruals, prepaid schedules, and fixed asset reconciliations
- Assist with audit requests and external reporting requirements
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
- Identify process improvements and help streamline accounting procedures
