SAP Implementation Specialist

Lead end-to-end SAP PP/DS and Logistics transformation – owning solution design, implementation, and continuous optimization across a complex automotive supply chain. Work at the intersection of business and IT to translate requirements into scalable SAP solutions, drive standardized processes, and ensure seamless integration of planning, production and outbound execution.

• Lead the implementation, rollout, and continuous improvement of SAP PP/DS and LE solutions
• Drive process design, harmonization, and standardization across production planning and outbound logistics
• Support transformation initiatives including data migration, system testing, and cutover activities
• Serve as an SME and key point of contact between business stakeholders, project leads and IT Teams

• Oversee demand visibility by monitoring customer call‑offs and OEM scheduling signals
• Align production capacity with demand and initiate corrective actions where gaps exist
• Maintain and optimize planning parameters such as lead times, takt times, and safety stocks
• Perform short and mid term capacity planning and constraint management
• Oversee creation and optimization of production plans based on material, machine, and labor availability
• Guide prioritization decisions in responding to demand variability and operational constraints
• Coordinate with internal/external partners for semi‑finished goods flow
• Align production plans with maintenance schedules, downtime and testing requirements

• Ensure accurate configuration and execution of outbound delivery processes in SAP
• Validate customer‑specific shipping, packaging, and labeling requirements while maintaining shipment standards (packaging units, weights, dimensions, lead times)

• Engage cross‑functional stakeholders across supply chain, operations, IT, and external partners
• Support and/or deliver end‑user training and adoption initiatives
• Drive continuous improvement and best practice adoption across supply chain processes

• Strong expertise in SAP PP/DS/LE including: MRP, production orders, routings, BOMs
• Proven experience leading or supporting SAP implementations, rollouts or transformation initiatives
• Solid knowledge of value stream mapping, outbound logistics, packaging standards, and shipping documentation
• Ability to operate effectively in a complex, fast‑paced automotive environment

• Advance experience with SAP APO or PP/DS
• Experience in process harmonization and global template design
• Background in large‑scale transformation programs and carve‑outs
• Experience training and supporting end users
