Phlebotomist Floater

Lab Corp is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our team in Cullman AL.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, scheduled hours vary between 6:00am-6:00pm and rotating Saturdays.

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Complete administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.

Vaccination Requirement: This position requires full COVID‑19 vaccination. Proof of vaccination or a valid medical or religious accommodation is required.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 2 years or more of phlebotomy experience.

• 3 years or more of phlebotomy experience.

• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency is required.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or on a team.
• Comfortable working with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
• At least 21 years old.

Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.

Float Incentive: Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement.

Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, 401(k), paid time off (PTO) or flexible time off (FTO), tuition reimbursement, and employee stock purchase plan. Employees scheduled to work less than 20 hours, casual, intern, and temporary employees are eligible only for the 401(k) plan. Employees on a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible for all benefits except PTO/FTO.
