    Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations for speech, language, cognition, and swallowing
  • Develop and implement personalized, evidence‑based treatment plans
  • Specialize in dysphagia management and cognitive‑linguistic rehabilitation
  • Educate patients, families, and staff on communication and swallowing strategies
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives in patient care
  • Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Speech Language Pathologist ( SLP ) and ASHA CCC certification in the state of Alabama
  • 2+ years of experience in skilled nursing or similar setting (preferred)
  • Expertise in dysphagia management and cognitive rehabilitation
  • Passion for geriatric care and interdisciplinary collaboration
