School Speech Language Pathologist - Cullman, Alabama

This full-time position begins mid-October and focuses on serving a vibrant PreK caseload. Qualifications and Desired

Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current or eligible state licensure as an SLP
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or equivalent
• Previous experience working in school settings, especially with PreK populations, is highly desirable
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Proficiency in assessment, intervention, and documentation practices for pediatric speech and language disorders

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language evaluations for PreK students to determine needs and eligibility
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy sessions
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student progress and inclusive learning
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and regulatory requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans
• Provide communication strategies and support for both students and classroom staff
