Medical Assistant

Triage patients in the clinic; vital signs and medication reconciliation.

Perform EKG's.

Maintain files and fax dictation to the primary physician.

Precert procedure(s)/test(s) when required.

Demonstrate and encourage team behavior and exceptional patient/guest experiences.

Uphold and promote patient safety and quality.

Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing required. Licensed by the Alabama State Board of Nursing required.

One year experience in a healthcare field.

Possess excellent interpersonal skills sufficient to interact with guest.

Required:

Proficient oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills. Must be BLS certified within 30 days of hire date.
