Industrial Tire Press Technician

Description

McGriff Tire is seeking a Forklift Tire Press Technician. In this role, you will work both on and offsite in a company provided vehicle and trailer with a mobile press. Responsibilities may include installation of Industrial (Press-On/Resilient/Pneumatic), Construction (Radial/Solid), and OTR (Radial/Solid) tires.

• Must be at least 21 years old and have a clean driving record.
• Valid Driver’s License and must be insurable to drive by company standards.
• DOT Medical Certification (required as part of the application process)

• Responsible for handling customer equipment according to OSHA Standards
• Mount/dismount various industrial tires, utilizing a Hydraulic 200 Ton Press Machine
• Perform different tire repairs as needed
• Local travel is required to customers and company locations (no overnights)

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate service equipment
• Excellent customer service, communication skills, and a high level of attention to detail
• Follow safety protocols and company policies
• Pass background check and drug screen
