As a Chemical Masking Technician for General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS) Precision Structures & Optics (PSO) located in Cullman, AL, youll be a member of a cross functional team primarily responsible for surface preparation of Beryllium products for masking operations, detailed masking, unmasking, the cleaning of parts, operation of paint equipment and the preparation of paint for application to hardware for use in the most demanding applications, across the aerospace, defense, and nuclear industries.

Our products are used in high performance sensing systems for targeting and acquisition, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions, and are hardened for the battlefield environment.

We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills:

* Painting experience with chemical conversion and masking skillsets preferred

* Ability to read, understand and follow written instructions such as masking instruction on routers, work instructions, quality procedures, inspection sheets and drawings as applicable to the work being performed

* Experience and ability to routinely use a microscope and to work with sharp edged tools such as razor blades and knives in a safe manner

Salary Note

Combined Salary Range

USD $27.10 - USD $29.72 /Hr.
