! This position's hourly rate is negotiable, depending on experience and is eligible for our full benefits package. The workweek for this position is full‑time (40 hours per week with overtime opportunities), Monday – Friday, with two different shifts available. This position will work on‑site at our facility in Cullman, Alabama.

• 1st Shift, Monday – Friday 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM (OT available before shift and occasional weekends)
• 2nd Shift, Monday – Friday 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM (OT available after shift and occasional weekends)

Perfection Chain Products (PCP) has been manufacturing a wide variety of metal products since 1848 and is currently the largest producer of weldless chain products in North America. PCP is hiring a Production Operator to run manual wire forming machines for its operations in Cullman, AL. Other duties include but are not limited to:

• Setting up and operating machinery to perform precision wire forming operations.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations.
• Using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure accuracy of finished products.
• Performing routine maintenance on machines to ensure proper functioning.
• Monitoring machine operations and adjusting as necessary to maintain quality standards.
• Collaborating with team members to troubleshoot issues and optimize production processes.
• Following safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work area.

This position works in a warehouse environment and will be standing/walking during most shifts. The operator should expect to be on their feet during most of the shift.

This position requires a person with excellent mechanical aptitude; we are seeking an individual who is familiar with traditional metal manufacturing concepts and/or CNC machining. Additional qualifications include:

• Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and their use (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
