Main Roles and Responsibilities of Position:
- Performs any assembly-type functions, using hand, air or power tools.
- Operates any equipment needed to perform job.
- Performs related duties as assigned by supervision.
- Uses computer to order or send away production materials.
- Completes required paperwork to document production.
Quality
- Ensures product and processes meet the standards relating to quality and STAKA.
- Ensures that process and product deviations from specification are documented and reported.
- Performs tasks according to inspection, handling, packing, gauging instructions.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk. The employee frequently is required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts.
Education and/or Experience Required:
- Mathematical
Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. - Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent. Familiarity with metric system.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply commonsense understanding to read and carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to analyze problems involving production and notify proper people.
