Flux Core Welder

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Flux Core Welder  for a company based in Cullman, AL. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for fabricating and assembling pipes to create a variety of customized structures.

Pay Rate $18+ (based on experience)

Schedule and Hours Dayshift:
Mon
- Fri 7am-3:30pm/5:30pm;
Night shift:
Sun: 11:00p-7:00a / Mon-Thur: 9:00p-7:00a

• Read and interpret blueprints, product drawings, and pic ticket orders to determine materials, tools and equipment needed to complete work
• Follows quality control procedures to ensure that the assembled, fabricated product meets customer specification
• Upholds accurate records of materials used on “ticket”; locates and pulls required materials from inventory
• Utilizes a variety of hands tools, saws, and cutting equipment and performs other related duties as assigned
• Maintains clean work area and equipment; following safety procedures concerning use of equipment and materials to maintain safe working conditions

• Must have welding experience (Flux Core)
• Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds, lifting test to be administered
• Background check and drug screen required
• Capable of carrying out a given task with details necessary to get the task done well

• 40 Hours Service Bonus after 1 year of continuous service and 1500 hours
• 6 paid Holidays after 1 year of continuous service and 1500 hours
• We are also offering a $50.00 referral bonus. Both employee and referral must stay on assignment for 30 days to receive the payout.
