Southern Health Partners is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team at the Cullman County Jail.

This isn't your typical hospital floor. You'll provide meaningful patient care in a structured, secure environment where your clinical judgment, compassion, and nursing skills truly matter.

• Performing nursing assessments and monitoring patient conditions
• Administering medications and treatments within your scope of practice
• Responding to urgent and emergent medical needs
• Recognizing changes in patient condition and communicating concerns appropriately
• Providing patient education and supporting continuity of care
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records
• Following established clinical protocols and standards of care
• Collaborating with nurses, providers, and correctional staff
• Maintaining a professional, compassionate approach to patient care
• Helping create a safe and therapeutic healthcare environment

• Current, unrestricted Alabama RN license
• Current CPR certification
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

• Current, unrestricted Alabama LPN license
• Current CPR certification
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional, dependable, and compassionate approach to patient care
• Previous nursing experience preferred
• Correctional healthcare experience is a plus, but not required

6:00 PM to 6:30 AM

12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule
