Overview

The Beauty Advisor drives sales and delivers a positive customer experience by providing excellent service through building client relationships, performing product applications, and offering customized recommendations. The role requires genuine enthusiasm for the beauty and fragrance industry, a competitive drive, and confidence to excel in a fast‑paced commission environment. This is an hourly position.

• Demonstrate ownership, accountability, and initiative to achieve store objectives and personal and store key metrics.
• Create memorable store experiences by building genuine relationships with teammates, vendors, customers, and the community.
• Build customer loyalty through excellent service, personalized consultations, clienteling tools, and product recommendations that meet client needs and preferences.
• Execute promotions, special events, and customer outreach to maximize performance and drive sales.
• Utilize selling tools and digital devices to provide a seamless omnichannel experience, confidently speaking to available inventory, assortment, and product details.
• Leverage training tools, brand resources, and feedback to continuously build product knowledge, suggestive selling behaviors, artistry skills, and expertise in the latest industry tips and beauty trends.
• Encourage repeat client interactions by being a knowledgeable and trusted resource.
• Merchandise and replenish products in a timely manner.
• Maintain visual merchandising, signage, and beauty hygiene standards in alignment with vendor and company directives.
• Contribute to a positive store culture by building connections with teammates, sharing knowledge, and celebrating achievements.
• Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in response to changing circumstances.
• Support selling and store operations by assisting with additional tasks as assigned.
• Support store fulfillment and asset protection initiatives by accurately and efficiently executing omnichannel and operations processes, maintaining product protection standards, and adhering to safety guidelines.

• Ability to take ownership of assigned tasks and contribute to store success.
• Self‑directed, able to work with minimal supervision in a deadline‑driven environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Comfortable with technology, including smartphones, tablet computers, and Windows‑based operating systems.
• Available to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must routinely move around store areas, be accessible to customers, bend, reach, stretch, and lift, carry, and move at least 40 lbs.
• Comfortable with and enjoy assisting customers with makeup application and skincare services.
• Associates must maintain all required professional licenses and certifications, including any state‑specific demonstrator or cosmetology licenses, as required by applicable state and local regulatory boards.

• Must be at least 16 years old.
