Responsibilities- Oversee assigned site branch installation projects, report progress to Installation Supervisor/Project Manager, and provide safe, quality and efficient service while maximizing profit and maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned projects and customer satisfaction.
- Determine schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities based on work priority, quantity of equipment, and skill of personnel.
- Communicate with customers and their representatives, including building owners, mechanical contractors, other trades, subcontractors, and field support staff.
- Ensure compliance with internal contracting processes regarding customer specific documentation and closeout procedures.
- Maintain accuracy of forecasted costs at completion by reviewing hours worked and material costs; meet with contractors and owners to discuss scope, budgets, performance, and close-out.
- Coordinate on‑site installation or remodel jobs, including supervising installers and helpers, coordinating materials and labor estimation, and requisitioning materials and supplies.
- Read and comprehend plans and blueprints for installation of cabling, communication loops, components, energy management, and refrigerant leak systems.
- Perform all duties of an Installation Technician; delegate tasks and motivate individuals.
- Read, analyze, and interpret plans, specifications, contract documents, control drawings, service bulletins, technical procedure manuals, equipment specifications, and governmental regulations.
- Inspect and monitor work areas, examine tools and equipment, and provide employee safety training to prevent, detect, and correct unsafe conditions or violations.
- Manage multiple priorities with minimal guidance.
- High School diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum five years of experience with a high school diploma/GED. Technical degree preferred.
- EPA 608 Certification preferred.
- HVAC/R with minimum five‑year commercial experience.
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
- Physical ability to climb ladders, work at high elevations, and lift up to fifty pounds.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, detail oriented and highly motivated.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and out of town as required.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- High level of professionalism, diplomacy, and customer focus.
- Strong project‑management skills with high attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to make decisions, learn quickly, think rationally, and exercise good judgment. Works effectively in a diverse team environment.
- Ability to work both individually and as a team with minimal supervision.
